2 Ingredient Air-Fried Oreos

If you’re craving that classic fairground treat without the deep fryer or the hassle, these 2 Ingredient Air-Fried Oreos are about to become your new go-to dessert! All you need is a can of crescent roll dough and a package of classic Oreos to create warm, fluffy, golden bites that taste just like the ones you get at the fair. Simply wrap each Oreo in crescent dough, pop them in the air fryer, and finish with a dusting of powdered sugar for the perfect sweet treat. Whether you’re looking for a quick dessert, an easy party snack, or a fun activity to make with kids, these air fryer Oreos deliver irresistible flavor in minutes.

Kelly’s Kitchen Tip’s

Don’t Overwrap the Dough

Gently stretch the crescent dough just enough to cover each Oreo in a thin, even layer. Too much dough can make them overly bready instead of fluffy.

Seal the Edges Well

Pinch the seams tightly around the Oreo so they don’t open up while cooking. You can even roll them lightly between your palms to smooth the surface.

Line Your Air Fryer Basket

Use parchment paper or lightly spray the basket with nonstick spray to prevent sticking. Just be sure to leave space around each piece for air circulation.

Adjust Cook Time for Crispness

If you like them softer, check them at about 5 minutes. For a more golden, slightly crisp exterior, cook closer to 7–8 minutes.

Try Flavored Oreos

Switch it up with Double Stuf, Mint (my favorite), Golden Oreos, or seasonal flavors like Red Velvet, Birthday Cake or the new Selena Horchata Oreos for a fun twist.

Get Creative

Tired of Oreos? This recipe also works great with other fillings such as cookie dough, Reese’s peanut butter cups, or whatever filling your tastebuds crave!

Serve Warm

These taste best right after cooking while the cookie inside is warm and the dough is fluffy.

Dress It Up

Dust with powdered sugar, drizzle with chocolate sauce, or serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra indulgent treat.

Batch Cooking

If you’re making a big batch, keep cooked Oreos warm in a 200°F oven while you finish air frying the rest.

Storage Tips

Short-Term Storage

If you have leftovers, let them cool completely. Store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 day—they’re best fresh. To reheat, pop them back in the air fryer for 2–3 minutes at 300°F to warm and refresh the texture.

Freezing (Optional)

These aren’t quite as good frozen and reheated, but if you must, wrap each cooled Oreo in plastic wrap and freeze in a zip-top bag for up to 2 weeks. Reheat straight from frozen in the air fryer at 320°F for about 5–6 minutes, checking often.

Serving Ideas

Classic Fair Style

Generously dust with powdered sugar right before serving. Serve on a paper plate for that authentic carnival feel.

Festive Touch

Drizzle with melted white chocolate and add colorful sprinkles for holidays or parties.

With Coffee or Hot Chocolate

Serve warm alongside a cup of coffee or rich hot cocoa for an indulgent snack.

2 Ingredient Fluffy Air-Fried Oreos

Bring your beloved fairground favorite right to your home with this super simple recipe for fluffy air fried Oreo’s in under 30 minutes!
Prep Time 7 minutes
Cook Time 16 minutes
Total Time 23 minutes
Course Dessert
Cuisine American
Servings 8 Oreos

Ingredients

  • 1 can Crescent dough
  • 8 Oreo’s
  • 1 tbsp Powdered sugar, optional

Instructions

  • Before beginning, please note: unless you have a large air-fryer, you will need to do this in 2 batches (2 groups of 4).
  • Begin by separating your crescent dough. You can either leave it in the triangle form or shape it into more of a square. Place your Oreo in the center of each dough piece and fold each corner up and over the cookie until it is fully covered. Seal closed any open areas.
  • Optional – place a small piece of parchment paper, big enough for each batch to be adequately spaced apart as the dough will rise & expand. But do not cover the entire bottom of the fryer as that will constrict air flow.
  • Cook on 350° for 8 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Once done, sprinkle with some powdered sugar and serve immediately as they taste best served hot & fresh! Enjoy!

Notes

Can also be made with cookie dough, peanut butter cups, or whatever filling your heart desires!
