Ingredients

  • 4 slices whole wheat bread
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • cream cheese spread
  • confectioners powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  • Heat your skillet over medium heat and begin by mixing powdered sugar, to taste, into the amount of cream cheese you wish to use.
*Roughly 1 tbsp powdered sugar & 1/2 cup cream cheese. Add more as needed & set to the side.
  • If using a panini/ sandwich press, start buttering your bread. If your butter isn't as easily spreadable, lightly melt it in the microwave for 15 seconds and evenly distribute onto one side of the toast. If using a skillet, skip this step.
  • Spread cream cheese mixture onto both non-buttered sides of the toast and top with however many blueberries you desire. Close the sandwich up.
  • Throw a slice of butter onto your heated skillet, press down lightly and let it toast on the skillet for about 4-5 minutes on either side or until the cream cheese has melted a little and the bread is toasted to your desired preference.
  • Serve & enjoy!
